Many people do not ever back up their data, then windows has a problem and they have to reload windows. This usually costs them all of the computer data and they learn the hard way.

You do not want this to happen to you. With recovery software protection you can make sure you keep all of your data and personal computer information if you ever have to reload windows.

There are a few programs on the market that will help you to back up all of your data. Many of which you can buy at your local computer store.

There are also a few other things you can do to protect your data. Windows XP does offer a computer restore feature in the event of a system crash. However this should only be used for trying to restore your computer if something fails. This is not true data protection.

One of the best things you can do to back up your data is to buy either another internal or external hard drive.

If you decide to have an internal hard drive installed in your computer you can then save or drag any files that you want to save to your second hard drive.

You can also run back ups to this drive if you buy a large enough drive. This offers great protection for your computer information.

Recovery software protection can also be performed with a program like Norton ghost. Ghost will make an image of your hard drive at whatever point in time you choose to save the data.

You can then save this image file to whatever drive medium you want. If you have a system crash you can then use ghost to recover any data you have saved in that image file.

You can also use windows back up manager in your have windows. However we do not recommend this program very sensitive data as this program can have problems with saving and recovering your data.

If you bought a computer from a company like Gateway or Dell these manufacturers usually include some kind of back up protection. If you are unsure you will need to call the company’s tech support.

You can save you data to just about any medium you want including cd’s, external or internal hard drives and even memory sticks. Just make sure the recovery software protection you buy is able to save to what you have.
